Begun in 2002, the Brevard sculpture project is a fascinating addition to downtown and is a great way to acquaint yourself with the indigenous animals that abound in the southern Appalachian mountains. Sixteen different sculptures are rendered in steel, bronze, copper, marble and stone, creating an enduring legacy honoring the art of nature.
