All the world may be a stage, but Brevard boasts one of its more impressive natural backdrops. The drama of the landscape may find if not its match, then certainly a competitor in the theaters of Transylvania County, where a season may find the best of homegrown talent playing alongside touring companies, students of the theater and the occasional star performer.
Between the full season at the nearly seventy-five year old Brevard Little Theater, regular shows at the Porter Center, musicals at the Brevard Music Center and various performances by local puppeteers, cabaret acts and children’s companies, Transylvania County offers audiences plenty of opportunities to applaud.
