Gallery Exhibit: WNC Quilters Guild - Area 5
Enjoy mountain quilts made by members of the WNC Quilters Guild – Area 5 that are on display at the Transylvania Community Arts Council from March 19 - 29. The public is invited to an artist reception on Friday, March 19 from 4-7 pm. On Saturday, March 20, TC Arts will open the exhibit from 10 am - 4 pm in honor of the Banff Film Festival. Banff Film Festival Weekend
A weekend full of adventure! While Brevard College hosts the Banff Mountain film Festival, local restaurants, outfitters and accommodations want to welcome you in a big way. If high adventure isn't your style, pull up your waders and join Davidson River Outfitters and the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education for the Pisgah Fly Masters Fly Fishing Tournament. Family Clay Day: Garden Art
Family Clay Day is a one-time pottery class where children of all ages can learn hand-building basics while creating fun projects. In this one-time class, participants only obligation is to have fun, create, and pick glaze colors. Instructors will do the rest. Pottery created during the One-Time Classes will be available for pick up in three weeks. The cost of these classes includes clay, glazing, firing, and processing. Shipping is available upon request: There is a $5 handling fee per person plus the cost of shipping.

Signs of spring along the French Broad River - A Guided Canoe Trip
Spring is the perfect time to explore the beautiful scenery of the French Broad River, and what better mode of transportation than in a canoe? This peaceful eight-mile guided canoe trip will take about four hours to complete. You, your friends or family, paddle downstream through perhaps the most beautiful section of the entire river. Join one of our experienced river guides and encounter the beauty and tranquility of this ancient river as it springs to life with the melodic chatter of wildlife and the colorful burst of new foliage. Reservations are required and are confirmed with a 50% deposit. The trip fee is $50.00 per person which includes; canoe, paddle, life jacket, transportation to & from the river, and river guide.
